I am a fifth generation Johnson County resident who was born and raised in Cleburne, Texas. My husband, Sid, is a dentist and owns Cleburne Dental Care. We have two children.

After graduating from Cleburne High School, I furthered my education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor of science in Education and became certified to teach school. However, I only taught for only one year before starting law school.

I attended St. Marys University School of Law. Upon graduation, the Bexar County District Attorney appointed me as an Assistant District Attorney. I prosecuted numerous criminal cases and tried many cases either before a jury or a judge. I presented cases to the grand jury and also represented the State of Texas in many pre-trial hearings and hearings on motions that prosecuted offenders to suppress. I was eventually named to the task force that prosecuted offenders involving driving while intoxicated, including misdemeanor and felony offences, and cases where injuries or deaths were involved. matters as well. 

In 1995, I entered the private practice of law in Cleburne, Texas. Over the last eleven years I have practiced in a broad range of areas. I have tried cases in family, juvinile, civil, criminal,and personal injury matters, and I have had assisted many clients with probate matters as well. I have represented clients during many mediations and worked with clients to resolve their cases as efficiently as possible.

I have now opened my own firm, Mary, C. Davis Attorney at Law. I plan to continue practicing in the areas mentioned above and look forward to serving your legal needs.
